If you’ve ever wondered if you’re headed in the right direction and whether love will find you on your journey – this song has the answer.

I originally wrote “Closer to You” for the wedding of friends, and had the joy of singing it to them just after they walked down the aisle – but at the time I wrote it, I wondered myself, where I was headed.  The “Mama” in this song is Barbara Yule, who took me under her wing in Scotland and convinced me that no matter what I did, love would find me if I just went my own way.
