The videos on the two bonus Latin and Celtic teachers are not working. I printed the practice paperwork and would like to do those also as I love bossa!
16:41:41 From Sally to Everyone:
Mona, do you mean this page? https://www.hipharp.com/academy/llcb-course-home/
16:42:12 From Sally to Everyone:
Mona, the videos work find for me. Each lesson is toggled. Still need to find the Celtic lessons.
16:58:55 From Anne Horton to Everyone:
If I play the 7th in A it is a G - do I need to sharp that G as well? If not can you explain why not?
17:00:54 From Heather F to Everyone:
Cmaj7-Dm7-G7-Cmaj7 x2
17:03:11 From Melinda Ostrander-Aviles to Everyone:
finding a rhythm kept me going
17:03:28 From Heather F to Everyone:
Am7 -Bm7b5 -E b9 - x2…….
17:03:49 From Carol Henley to Everyone:
I do better if I don’t over think this, and just play
17:04:05 From Stefanie Bieber to Everyone:
Anne, the G is the minor 7 in Aminor, the G# would make the chord sound e bit weird
17:04:32 From Joke Verdoold to Everyone:
For me it works best to keep to the shapes.
17:04:33 From Anne Horton to Everyone:
Is it still called “modulating” if you have gone to the relative minor (considering you haven’t changed the levers - except for the “G# thing” … but Amin doesn’t have a G# in it?)
17:06:00 From Tara to Everyone:
When I grabbed a "wrong" note, I could usually make it sound fine by just moving calmly to a neighboring note or two.
17:06:06 From sarah to Everyone:
Remembered from the Monday replay and Autumn leaves. Little bit different. Go from Majeur to minor in the numbers. 2-5-1
17:06:56 From Yael Yaniv Perry to Everyone:
that means you can only use F# in the B chord right?
17:07:35 From Stefanie Bieber to Everyone:
Anne, the G# is an artificial raised 7th step to make the dominant E strong, it is what we call harmonic minor
17:08:01 From Heather F to Everyone:
I-ii-V-I // ii-V-I // vi-vii-III-vi. Or something like that
17:08:20 From Stefanie Bieber to Everyone:
The G# only appears in the E chord, not in the Am chord.
17:09:27 From Angie Smales to Everyone:
I understand you question Anne, if the keys of C & A have no # or b ie related, why are we sharpening the G in this case 🤷♀️
17:10:40 From Anne Horton to Everyone:
==> Find your “Sweet Spot” - create a “loop” of “creative resonance” so you become your music! :)
17:11:10 From Heather F to Everyone:
1-2-5-1 // 2-5-1 // into A minor 1-2-5-1 // 2-5-1 back to C major
17:25:44 From Carol Henley to Everyone:
playing with abandon is so much fun!
