14:25:18 From Darlene Deisinger to Everyone : Hi Deborah.   I am beyond – must catch-up today.

14:26:09 From Lyn Thompson to Everyone : Thank you, so much Deborah, for all of your efforts to keep up our spirits during this time, sharing your expertise and love of music,  and especially motivating all of us.

14:26:29 From Liz Morgan to Everyone : Hello Everyone!  I am sorry I am not

14:26:52 From Liz Morgan to Everyone : I am sorry I am not “online”.  I have a new puppy who just woke up.  I will be listening.

14:27:14 From Carol Henley to DHC(Direct Message) : Smile, DH_C

14:28:03 From Liz Morgan to Everyone : Yes, can hear you.  thank you

14:31:37 From Dilys Williams to Everyone : Hi everyone:

14:32:05 From Paula Scott-Frantz to Everyone : Hello

14:32:18 From Anne Horton to Everyone : Hello!!

14:32:54 From Kathy Rae to DHC(Direct Message) : Hello back!

14:34:45 From Debra Sawyer to Everyone : and your fluid conducting is quite mesmerizing

14:38:03 From Barbara Irvin to Everyone : You may have heard that “A (poem, piece of writing, music or song” is never done; it’s just due. 🤪😆

14:39:27 From Barbara Irvin to Everyone : Each piece of a Suite is complete unto itself.

14:39:50 From Anne Horton to DHC(Direct Message) : Is it pouring with rain where you are?

14:40:27 From Liz Morgan to Everyone : feeling complete?  have never felt that!

14:40:51 From jane Ilmola to Everyone : I conquered my demon with Shelley.

14:41:09 From Paula Scott-Frantz to Everyone : Feel more that why since Friday. After playing  a version I love over and over

14:41:21 From Joan Davidson to Everyone : me not complete!

14:41:26 From Barbara Irvin to Everyone : Congratulations, to Joke and Margi!

14:41:27 From Maryanne Schmeiser to Everyone : Don’t feel completion but feel excitement and hope for the possibility of enhancing my harp experience and life this year.

14:41:35 From Margie Bekoff to Everyone : I feel that I finished the 5 days but there is still more that can be done!! Feeling complete doesn’t mean that I’m done!!

14:41:43 From Leanne Ewen to Everyone : I feel yay!  I did this, but the feeling of not completion comes because there is more I want to do, which doesn’t necessarily negate the feeling of having completed the challenge.  It is more like I have stepped one step up the ladder, now the next step is coming and here’s what I am going to do.

14:42:06 From Cornelia van Aken to Everyone : It’s in my binder so it must be complete! I am fine with knowing it will morph.

14:42:24 From Joyce Douglas to Everyone : defining complete requires us to think about what it looks like, feels like, sounds like – my thought process needs to adjust from perfection as well

14:43:03 From Debra Sawyer to Everyone : where to find this ? Facebook?

14:43:11 From lisa joosten to Everyone : it is a beautiful ongoing process of creation and completion, but it is useful to mark goals and actions to be able to complete steps

14:43:21 From Anne Horton to Everyone : In one sense my experience of this challenge is complete because I participated in it all and answered all the questions from each day … but .. if you mean “can I sit down and play this whole suite with confidence, fluidity and I have committed it all to memory”  – nope – by those standards my experience of this challenge is not yet “complete”

14:43:41 From DHC to Everyone : https://www.hipharp.com/academy/5-day-vision-to-action-challenge-main-page/

14:43:47 From Anne Horton to Everyone : … so it depends on your/my definition of “COMPLETE”?

14:44:25 From Lyn Thompson to Everyone :         Deborah…  I hope that you will  “complete”  and publish all of your works….   we as harpists need this… you might put a disclaimer at the beginning ….e.g.,,   check updates etc…..  we need your inspiration…

14:44:29 From Joke Verdoold to Everyone : Well said, Anne, that how i see it.

14:44:39 From Helen Wright to Everyone : I got here late, sorry… I do feel like I completed the week.

14:44:52 From Stefanie Bieber to Everyone : Body: between the shoulder blades

14:45:38 From Stacie Link to Everyone : agree Anne, with the news this week and trying to work on two songs I was struggling with, I did not complete each day…but between songs, I played a couple of the motifs to calm myself, so that was a win.

14:45:41 From Anne Horton to Everyone : ==> THREE QUESTIONS TO ANSWER

14:45:55 From Stefanie Bieber to Everyone : Open door: after taking off I could see every thing from the bird perspective, and suddenly it was clear what the next steps will be

14:46:02 From lisa joosten to Everyone : the vhallenh

14:46:31 From lisa joosten to Everyone : oops sorry. the challenge gave me the opportunity to really sit down and focus on values, vision, mission goals and actions, it gave a lot of clarity

14:46:47 From Anne Horton to Everyone : 1.  Where in your body do you feel complete/incomplete?

14:46:48 From Dimitra Fleissner to Everyone : Well, in a way I do feel like I completed the challange by watching all the videos and answering all the questions. But the journey, my vision, isn’t complete of course. so in another way it probably won’t ever be complete.

14:46:51 From Lyn Thompson to Everyone : I got a clear vision of what I want to express through music. I haven’t completed this vision yet… but I have the basics that I know that I can expand….   melodies and motifs still swirling in my head….   it is transforming.

14:46:58 From Barbara Lawson to Everyone : I have completed this challenge because I attended every class and completed every assignment – including playing the suite numerous times.  I didn’t complete a recording of the suite.  I have tried but I couldn’t get it shorter than 3 1/2 minutes and it wouldn’t go into facebook.

14:47:03 From Kirsti Kaldro to Everyone : I feel complete in that this Vision challenge helped me clear away the confusion and get to the heart of my confusion about what I was doing.  It helped me make a big decision about my life course.  I feel incomplete – because this whetted my appetite for more.  I want to learn more left hand patterns and grooves.  I wish I could do more quickly…but my work always takes time to evolve.  I feel that hunger in my stomach!

14:47:03 From Anne Horton to Everyone : 2. What did you take away form this 5 day challenge?

14:47:10 From Liz Morgan to Everyone : Where (in body) do I feel the “incompleteness”?  Chest, throat.

14:47:20 From Anne Horton to Everyone : 3.  What doors have opened for you in this challenge?

14:47:31 From Paula Scott-Frantz to Everyone : I feels more completed when I shared it with a harp friend. And she pointed out I was playing differently, more comfortable. Take away I do have time to play well. Even at almost 70. I feel the music in my heart and should. Thank You DHC

14:47:36 From Nancy Cochran to DHC(Direct Message) : Improvising demon pots, and playing strings spontaneously for my mood. Did not write anything down.

14:47:40 From Stacie Link to Everyone : take away… not complete because I didn’t finish day five suite but did gain a life skill of always have a few motifs as a go to.

14:47:41 From Margie Bekoff to Everyone : I wrote above that I’m not “finished,” BUT, I played the motifs, I answered the questions to the best of my ability at the time, and I played the suite. Daily, I improvised on the motifs. I don’t know that I’ll ever FINISH! My vision is not “complete,” and my mission is developing. I will continue to play the Suite. What I DID COMPLETE is the feeling that perfection is not my goal. Rather, my connection to my harp, to the music and to the community is a goal I achieved.

14:47:57 From Liz Morgan to Everyone : Sorry! 1) feel incomplete in chest/throat.  2) Takeaways: two visions have “started”.

14:48:10 From Stefanie Bieber to Everyone : If I think about it, I completed the Vision and Mission part am am now heading to put it to action, I feel like being pregnant in the last phase short before birth

14:48:28 From Nancy Cochran to DHC(Direct Message) : I feel in my body in my shoulders up around my ears.

14:48:31 From Cornelia van Aken to Everyone : For me, music (and dance) are different every time I perform or observe, and I would never say they were complete or that they weren’t complete. And I’m fine with that.

14:48:57 From Debra Sawyer to Everyone : Imperfect completion is more comfortable then thinking it has to be signed sealed and delivered

14:48:59 From Lyn Thompson to Everyone : The door that has opened is the door of possibility… that I can achieve a beautiful musical creation … an art form.

14:49:20 From lisa joosten to Everyone : it feels like seeing the connection between all the pieces (actions, projects) I am involved in or thinking about, it all makes so much sense now!!

14:49:29 From Barbara Lawson to Everyone : I believe that completion is when I finish an attempt.  It isn’t completely what I wanted it to be but it is if you believe the Indian belief that since humans make mistakes then our completed art will have mistakes and that is beautiful.  I have gotten a lot out of this and am improving and know a way to go.

14:49:51 From Esther Le Muire to Everyone : My heart  feels like a hearth in a an ancient  thatched  cottage where the peat has just been rekindled —-and I’m beginning to feel alive in new ways- on my way not finished 🙂

14:49:59 From Darlene Deisinger to Everyone : I need to complete in my body – anxiety and calmness of mind.  Music is my calmness – playing my harp gives me the clearness and expression that I need.

14:50:01 From Mary Robinson to Everyone : lol I am completely incomplete! But I did just realize that I am further along the path towards understanding who I am and what I do. So, I completed another step…or section…or piece.

14:50:22 From Joke Verdoold to Everyone : I feel complete, because having been able to do one way or another, give me rest in my head. And that gives me space to go on with it, trying out new thing in the formula’s learned and making them truly my own.

14:50:44 From Helen Wright to Everyone : 1. Complete: that I can claim, own, rest in and defend this : my values, vision, mission, goals, rewards… those are mine now and although they will  grow and expand and flower, I can stand on it as mine.  I can own it.  and that’s what the music gives me.

14:51:14 From Kathy Rae to Everyone : Feel it in chest and throat. Takeaways are the completion piece that you don’t have to do everything to be complete. I get blocked from progress because of the idea I have to do all of it to be complete so this idea is liberating. I like that I have completed it FOR NOW. The open door is the tools to play with improvisation.

14:51:26 From Ilene Miller to Everyone : I feel like I completed the challenge only because it is the first actual class/challenge that I have actually done fully.  I am proud of that. But this has opened the door to me to not be afraid to explore more with the harp and to be open to let my heart show itself in my playing.  It has opened the door for me to ec

14:51:40 From Ilene Miller to Everyone : Explore and also to improve my skills.

14:51:55 From Kirsti Kaldro to Everyone : A wise person recently noticed my tendency to want to deliver everything perfect, wrapped with a bow, and he encouraged me to think (metaphorically) in terms of making a gift bag, when I do a project.  The most important things are in there, it’s good enough.

14:52:28 From Lauri J Craig to Everyone : it is sooo important to be able to come back to what we have accomplished & realize our own growth – especially when we feel stuck!

14:53:00 From Nancy Cochran to DHC(Direct Message) : DHC – Music for me usually alone – solo – is always evolving, I never play any music the same twice. piece differently every time. Not static.

14:53:42 From Helen Wright to Everyone : 2. Takeaway:  I don’t have to do more, but this will flourish as I hide less, and rebuke the lies in the demon pot, my heart will be free to reach out, and express my values and live them through the vision, mission, goals, rewards.

14:53:57 From Kathy Rae to Everyone : The Amish idea is that only God is perfect. They use this idea when they are making quilts and sometimes purposely make a “mistake” in the quilt.

14:54:24 From Kirsti Kaldro to Everyone : Crazy Quilts!  I have always been fascinated with those!!!

14:54:36 From Helen Wright to Everyone : 3. what doors opened: music that binds up the broken-hearted.

14:55:00 From Anne Horton to DHC(Direct Message) : I just have to step out for a minute

14:55:24 From Susanne Reimoser to Everyone : I feel partly incomplete, since on day 4 I didn’t have any time. I watched the video afterwards, but in between without really let myself fall into it with my whole self like the first three days. But altogether I feel I completed it, because I set new goals and strategies to work further on.

14:57:41 From Stefanie Bieber to Everyone : Just hav the idea, that a birth is the end of pregnancy but the start of bringing the child into the state of find it’s place in the world

14:57:56 From Debra Sawyer to Everyone : About seeing yourself through other’s interpretations

14:57:58 From Sarah Werners to DHC(Direct Message) : I feel a kind of complete. Thursday I said that I should video the challenge. This weekend I had a lot of obligations. I succeeded in filming the 5 days and the suite. Thx to helpful Joke. I learned how I make a YouTube video and to solve some technical problems with my Mac. so I am happy that I did Aldo I hate to video myself and to play  for an empty screen instate of humans. I did fill in the form and I will poste everything maybe not before the deadline, but I do it this week. I hope technical everything will work on my old laptop and me with my skills . I can’t read my message back so when you can understand it, it’s oké for me to share it

14:59:19 From Lauri J Craig to Everyone : I need reminders of achievements- the journal of music and feelings is invaluable

14:59:43 From Debra Sawyer to Everyone : Levels of completion makes sense!!

15:00:03 From Sarah Werners to DHC(Direct Message) : how I feel inside little migraine, lack of sleep

15:00:55 From Debra Sawyer to Everyone : If I give one thing some time, it feels accomplished at that stage and also I have given it more study.

15:02:27 From Carol Henley to Everyone : sometimes I say to myself I’ve done the best I can AT THE MOMENT — which means, I might do more later

15:02:37 From Margie Bekoff to Everyone : The word “fulfillment” has been used to describe what might be considered the “completion” of a project. What brings fulfillment in a project? I like the way that question leads to the subsequent questions of what do I need to know to lead to the next level of fulfillment. Is fulfillment completion? I’ll think about that!

15:03:00 From Maryanne Schmeiser to Everyone : Makes absolute sense. Evolution, stages of growth, phases of development surrendering to possibility all part of the process.

15:03:44 From lisa joosten to Everyone : it is also about enjoying the path towards completion, the process and be conscious to be on that path

15:04:31 From Lauri J Craig to Everyone : I feel much more connected to my harp!!

15:05:23 From Vera Stern to Everyone : For me the Quest is never finished. it is a stage in which everything seems to integrate but there always is another level of integration . on day 5 I posted a chart that explains how this quest and integration are  connected to our physical body

15:06:58 From Lyn Thompson to Everyone : Sorry everyone,  I must leave this meeting….curbside visit with my family.   Stay safe everyone,   Once again,  ,many thanks for all of your inspiring words.

15:07:04 From Joan Davidson to Everyone : Every step moves one forward. One just needs an inkling of inspiration or motivation to start the process. The challenge and everyone’s shared responses have stirred me into action!

15:08:40 From Maryanne Schmeiser to Everyone : Yes, this is very useful. please don’t stop. 🙂

15:09:03 From Cornelia van Aken to Everyone : It’s only incomplete if I stop before I should.

15:09:07 From Sarah Werners to DHC(Direct Message) : felt beside the completion I wrote also confused. I loved the motives you thought use. But I felt

15:09:38 From Sarah Werners to DHC(Direct Message) : unfinished message 😢

15:10:18 From Kirsti Kaldro to Everyone : I love that – “Do what you have to do to connect with the music.”  Creativity comes from limitations, and it is hard to access that creator within, if we do not “meet ourselves where we are.”  This is, I think, a lesson I will always be working on, or need to remember.

15:10:23 From Sarah Werners to DHC(Direct Message) : sorry try it again to everyone

15:12:02 From Nancy Cochran to Everyone : Something has STARTED for me, with limited space to even play harps. I began to play my moods.

15:12:49 From Kathy Rae to Everyone : Done is better than perfect – more wisdom from quilt class

15:14:00 From Sarah Werners to Everyone : felt beside the completion I wrote also confused. I loved the motives you thought use.  I had difficulties in the improves to lead me through my heart, the harp and not my head. Or to judge myself too much while I make the video.

15:15:11 From Sarah Werners to Everyone : I needed to find a balance that the motives help me instate of block me.

15:16:11 From Debra Sawyer to Everyone : I liked the idea from Day 1 that “Music as a cloak of Protection”. There’s engagement in that feeling.

15:17:16 From Mona Seering to Everyone : I think I figured something out then I question and disprove it and begin the circle again with permission to allow my strings to ring fir me, so we are in vibrational congruence so I guess I am as complete as I’ll ever get even tho I can’t participate on CBC thanks!

15:17:37 From Mona Seering to Everyone : Facebook not CBC! oh my

15:17:46 From Sarah Werners to Everyone : felt beside the completion I wrote also confused. I loved the motives you thought use. But I felt

15:17:56 From Joan Davidson to Everyone : I think the imperfection of incompletion is what may make things more beautiful and interesting.

15:18:39 From Lauri J Craig to Everyone : and it is in the “more” site

15:18:40 From Joan Davidson to Everyone : Think of the imperfection of silk versus man-made fibre!

15:19:08 From Maryanne Schmeiser to Everyone : To raise hand go to MOREthere is a place that says Raise hand.

15:19:51 From Stacie Link to Everyone : on iPad there is a blue hand under participants

15:20:22 From Lynne Lapidus to Everyone : The idea that only G-d creates perfection is also in Judaism. We also put an error into things deliberately for that reason.

15:21:00 From Sarah Werners to Everyone : felt beside the completion I wrote also confused. I loved the motives you thought use. But I felt

15:21:14 From Maryanne Schmeiser to Everyone : I don’t have to do everything to be “complete” I can be with everything I do and did to feel complete. 💗

15:22:05 From Stacie Link to Everyone : 2516251 was life changing for me too

15:28:53 From Maryanne Schmeiser to Everyone : Thank you! Thank you, sweet Vera! 😘

15:29:15 From Stefanie Bieber to Everyone : Reminds me of this Japanese approach to not make a crack invisible after gluing but paint it golden, or like Leonhard Cohen says: The crack is where the light gets in. The Crack in a soundboard of the harp often makes it sound richer. Many examples for the perfection of imperfection

15:29:26 From Esther Le Muire to Everyone : Ja danke Vera  !

15:29:49 From Ilene Miller to Everyone : Sorry. Everyone, I have to leave. This has been a really inspiring conversation.

15:30:08 From Maryanne Schmeiser to Everyone : Music and movement is who I am. A great takeaway for me. 🎶💃🎶

15:30:21 From Vera Stern to Everyone : Kirsti, yes ok! I have studied Qigong and taichi for more than 20 years. I finally begin to understand it more in depth! p,ease email me.

15:30:31 From harpie 2 twee to Everyone : I feel a kind of complete. Thursday I said that I should video the challenge. This weekend I had a lot of obligations. I succeeded in filming the 5 days and the suite. Thx to helpful Joke. I learned how I make a YouTube video and to solve some technical problems with my Mac. so I am happy that I did  it. Aldo I hate to video myself and to play  for an empty screen instate of humans. I did fill in the form and I will poste everything maybe not before the deadline, but I do it this week. I hope technical everything will work on my old laptop and me with my skills .

15:31:59 From Maryanne Schmeiser to Everyone : It feels natural for me to improvise. What’s all this about? Realizing it’s a skill I have and a gift of my self.

15:32:48 From Tammy Halun to Everyone : I was surprised at how much I needed to put into the demon pot. I didn’t realize how much negative talk I have It has really brought it to my attention. I need to celebrate my accomplishments and recognise the negative but not to dwell on it

15:33:37 From lisa joosten to Everyone : thanks a lot !

15:34:15 From Darlene Deisinger to Everyone : A reward for me is: buying new music.

15:35:13 From Maryanne Schmeiser to Everyone : One reward for me is buying new music or taking part in harp webinars or sessions.

15:35:43 From Esther Le Muire to Everyone : Nitey-nite—time for me to sleep  —many thanks  !

15:36:07 From Maryanne Schmeiser to Everyone : Another reward for me is to play with my harp sisters – there are six of them. 😀

15:36:34 From Joyce Douglas to Everyone : thanks for a very thought provoking class that led me to think about how I can take responsibility to  get my vision in focus. My completion was getting my vision down.

15:36:46 From Mona Seering to Everyone : I think I figured something out then I question and disprove it and begin the circle again with permission to allow my strings to ring fir me, so we are in vibrational congruence so I guess I am as complete as I’ll ever get even tho I can’t participate on FB thanks!

15:37:11 From Ann Morris to Everyone : Good early morning everyone from Queensland, Australia. I have learned so much, but realise I have so much more to learn.

15:37:55 From Cheryl Mitchell to Everyone : https://www.hipharp.com/academy/strings-of-passion/

15:40:43 From Nancy Cochran to Everyone : I play harps some, READ about music, READ the beautiful scores I love, and would like to tell you about a book.

15:49:46 From Maryanne Schmeiser to Everyone : Great song: Japanese Bowls by Peter Meyers (?) that sings about the cracks and gold.  Makes me weep every tome I hear it.

15:50:36 From Stacie Link to Everyone : do we do blues?

15:52:51 From Lynne Lapidus to Everyone : After listening to Vera, and after my own experience Day 1, I’m starting to wonder how many harpists are spiritual. (Are we all just getting ready to play in Heaven? or are we here to bring Heaven to Earth?)

15:54:23 From Stacie Link to Everyone : kintsugi is the Japanese art, so beautiful

15:54:24 From Anne Horton to DHC(Direct Message) : I’m back .. sorry about that – hope you didn’t need me during that

15:57:57 From Darlene Deisinger to Everyone : Thanks – Deborah.  it has  been great!

16:01:07 From Cheryl Mitchell to Everyone : Lynne Lapidus ~ I believe in Heaven ~ we will KNOW how to play in such a BEAUTIFUL way more fully with absolute purpose 🙂

16:01:51 From Joan Davidson to Everyone : Thank you Deborah and all you wonderful harpies! Great experience!

16:02:01 From Stefanie Bieber to Everyone : Bring heaven to earth I believe, was a card by Chuck Spezzano I once received

16:02:06 From Harpie2 Sarah to Everyone : thanks a lot

16:02:31 From Maryanne Schmeiser to Everyone : With a heart filled with gratitude I say Thank you, Deborah. You are an inspiring woman and harp mentor. Peace and blessings in 2021. ✨💕✨

16:02:56 From Nancy C to Everyone : Thank you Deborah, you are an inspiration.

16:02:56 From Stefanie Bieber to Everyone : That was a great start for the year! Thanks a million

16:03:07 From Joke Verdoold to Everyone : All my best wishes to everybody, I hope to see you all soon.
