17:02:06 From Jill Work To Everyone:
It was easier to improvise over, and was easier to do rhythmic variations
17:02:07 From Sarah Loveland-Gill To Everyone:
2 chords only, felt like something really opening up with melody since LH didn’t have to think too much
17:02:24 From Cherie Maffey To Everyone:
You can make music with 2 chords.
17:02:38 From Tara O’Brien Pride To Everyone:
I discovered that the note D always fit, even though it’s not in either chord.
17:02:44 From Theresa Niederberger To Everyone:
I wouldn’t have done it because it would have seemed to be to simply. but it was so Relaxing and Kind of meditative and I heard some Beautiful melodies by just playing
17:03:00 From Tovelah Hirsch To Everyone:
Reacted to “I wouldn’t have done…” with ❤️
17:03:03 From kimberly woods To Everyone:
You can totally change the feel of the music when keeping the 2 chords by changing the rhythm and adding in and taking out notes of the chords
17:03:08 From linda paszalek To Everyone:
I I was surprised at how much variation there could really be with just two chords. Being with everyone and keeping in sync helped me loosen up and go with the flow!!!
17:03:21 From Nancy Cochran To Everyone:
Beautiful, and relaxing, the C chords give structure and stability for the melody and harmony to change.
17:03:25 From Karen Commins To Everyone:
I felt my noodling seemed very lame. It was relaxing and freeing, though.
17:03:26 From Cherrie Mooney To Everyone:
With only two chords, it forces you to come up with variations.
17:03:31 From Laurie Grant To Everyone:
It didn’t occur to me to reduce the number of notes in the chord – playing 2 notes vs 3 notes; also, not looking at right hand and ‘feeling’ it led to my fingers moving more naturally – rather than trying to figure out which notes to play…..beginning to open
17:03:34 From Annette To Everyone:
It was a more creative way to practice chord inversions. I played around with different rhythms as well
17:03:52 From Ginette Abbanat To Everyone:
As a super beginner, it was a “relevation” to try inverting chords. Always played C-E-G, F-A-C, etc. Got a lot to learn! Very freeing!
17:04:32 From Elit Rimberg To Everyone:
It was cool because we were playing along with you but if I do this by myself I think it would of been a little more repetitive but still sounds cool
17:05:04 From tovelah hirsch To Everyone:
I like responding when you play!
17:05:08 From Lara-May Thorne To Everyone:
I have to noodle more often to allow myself to be more free and not control, thinking about where, how fingers go on the strings.
17:05:23 From Marianne Sandoz To Everyone:
I changed just one note: (C) GBCE (F) ABCE.
17:05:54 From Midyne Spear To Everyone:
I experimented with new patterns
17:07:09 From Sally Walstrum To Everyone:
I found myself adding the 9 to both chords. I tend to go to a stride when doing something like this and wonder what else I could do in may left hand.
17:07:58 From mona To Everyone:
I just noodles on cd w rh and did c and f chords, which was not lame but simply girgeous
17:08:36 From Julia Cunningham To Everyone:
I just love how a few simple notes can evolve into something so magical.
17:16:56 From Sarah Loveland-Gill To Everyone:
It is so relaxing I’m almost falling asleep…..

17:33:54 From Midyne Spear To Everyone:
I liked these inversions with minimal finger movement. I had fun with the simple progression and adding a little bass. Makes me want to improvise more on basic progressions.
